The Young Marines is non-profit organization and finances its activities through fund raisers such as security and parking details, donations and sponsorships. 

Since our staff is entirely volunteer, all of the donations we receive help us pay for additional uniforms, travel, food and supplies for our events, for example:
  • Specialized training (average cost per child of $50)
    • CPR and First Aid,
    • Drug Prevention,
    • Peer Pressure,
    • Social Issues
  • Sports education  (average cost per child of $35)
    • Swimming,
    • Canoing,
    • Archery,
    • Bowling
  • Camping events (average cost per child per event ranges from $100 - $1000)
    • Young Marine State competitions
    • Weekend camp (light training / moderate recreation)
    • Week-long camp (moderate training / moderate recreation)
  • Historical and Governmental trips (average cost per child per event ranges from $300 - $1000+)

    • Parris Island
    • St Augustine
    • Florida Everglades
